Sometimes a group of people come together and everything just works and I’ll be the first to admit; the life of a Boston lifestyle blogger is an exciting and spontaneous one.
Of course it doesn’t hurt if they are gathering around a beautiful table of food created by one of the most acclaimed chef’s in the state, resting their heads at a luxe waterfront hotel and partying with the latest and greatest in food and travel editorial.
It began with a Little Pink Book of Cocktails mixology class at Table before we checked into our beautiful rooms at The Boathouse Waterfront Hotel.
Our rooms were beautiful, each with its own private balcony overlooking the water and the staff was exquisite (thank you Casey!)
After freshening up, we headed for drinks nearby at The Ramp where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and made friends with locals.
Next up was a pop-up family style dinner back at Table hosted by Earth with Chef Justin Walker.
We enjoyed the most savory fare from wood fire baked potato with Peekytoe crab, crispy chicken skin, cippolini onions and caviar, to lobster & octopus with scallions, fermented black bean aioli and sweet peppers (that was only half of the first course!)
Each course was paired with wines from Austria (Gruner Veltliner) and Italy (Maso Poli and Salice Salentino.)
Our last stop that day; the FROSTED party at David’s, complete with ice luge and live music.
I’ll be sharing the next and final leg of our trip shortly so stay tuned!
Have you ever been to Kennebunkport or ventured anywhere in Maine?
