Weekend Wrecker

This in an incredibly inappropriate topic to post about on a weekend, but self-serving as always, here I go anyway. I’ll be transitioning into my first corporate career soon and though my mind is mainly focusing on the challenges ahead, I am also of the office supplies and decorations I’ll buy solely for function but of course a fair amount for the eye-catching colors and unique construction.
I will also be getting something I have never had in the past, an official business card!

 

I clearly favor feminine pastels and find the most minute intricacies the most appealing which is why Aerin Lauder’s office space below is one I’d most like to emulate (hah as if my cubicle will be 1/15th the size). 

A gorgeous Leather briefcase/messenger quite similar to the one shown below to hold the three newspapers I’ll be reading scanning each morning (lets be honest), protein bar & fruit to keep me fortified, notes, files & laptop.

A leather bound notebook for jotting down minutes during conference calls, planning events, noting important dates and whatever may come up. I bought the brown version of the one pictured below by Arc but I don’t like how easily the pages come out and am now seeking a different one with secured spirals.

Cute, preppy and functional stickies (or just functional, I like the Moleskine sets!)

A double-duty paper weight that is also a magnetic paper-clip 

holder, business card case & matching letter opener:

 I plan to start plowing through this list (plus finding a nice filing system of trays etc) 

as soon as this evening.
