You may have noticed a recent upgrade in the quality of my photographs both around these parts on the blog, and slowly but surely on my Instagram.
The talent behind those photos, and some very exciting projects ahead, is my new photojournalism intern Carly B.
Insightful, poised, talented, well-traveled, and beautiful, I am excited and fortunate to have my words finally come to life visually through the work of this promising young lady.

Where you’re from? Quincy, Massachusetts.
Likes & dislikes? I love a bold colored lipstick, red velvet cupcakes, anything that glitters and all songs involving Taylor Swift. I dislike negative people, cold stormy days, traffic, and calculus.
School: Northeastern University, Business Administration Major with marketing and finance concentrations, music industry minor.
Fashion: I would consider myself to have a classic style. I appreciate a timeless piece, like a little black dress, that is very versatile in my closet. I love chunky necklaces (especially from J. Crew) and accessorizing pretty much everything I wear.
My style icons are Jackie Onassis, Audrey Hepburn, and Lady Gaga (her style is definitely not classic but I like her variety in outfit choices, especially lately.)
Travel: After spending my last semester in Montreal, Canada I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite cities. The fashion, the food and culture were so incredible.
There’s nothing like sipping a fresh cappuccino and eating french macaroons in the library in an attempt to de-stress before finals. I miss it every day!
I also love going to the Caribbean, the island of Turks and Caicos being my favorite. I enjoy a nice relaxing getaway where I can spend all day on the white sand without a care!
Coffee/ Tea: Though I am always up for a cup of coffee, I have been really into chai lattes lately. The iced cinnamon rooibos chai latte from David’s Tea is my favorite in Boston!
Favorite brands/designers?
Favorite brands/ stores: J. Crew, Anthropologie, Ralph Lauren, Madewell, Chanel (good for inspiration, not necessarily budget friendly), Free People.
Favorite Restaurants: Myers and Chang, Legal Seafoods, Stephanie’s on Newbury, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka.
Anything else: In my free time I like to play guitar, piano and sing!
