I was recently contacted to begin curating a collection of my favorite places to dine,
shop and more while in Boston. Due to my upcoming travel I will also cover several other cities!
My first stop happened to coincide with an intimate brunch I had planned with
a group of ladies at the elegant urban tavern and Boston favorite – Post 390.
I created the small arrangements and array of bud vases/candles |
Favorably located in the heart of our beloved Back Bay, its floor to ceiling windows,
multiple fireplaces and locally sourced ingredients make it the perfect, warm locale.
Gathered around our table was the talented fashion illustrator Holly of HNichols Illustration, Personal Chef Vanessa of Without A Measuring Cup, gorgeous fashionista and budding entrepreneur Amy of Cupcakes & Couture and the co-founder of Blog Better Boston (and fellow blogger) Alana Brooks.
Chef de Cuisine Brian Young brought us the most delicious charcuterie board with a delicious selection of meats ranging from Porchetta di Testa, Duck Liver Mousse, Lambrusco de Sorbara and more.
We sipped on prosecco infused with fresh muddled strawberries – the perfect Summer cocktail, pleasantly chilled and just sweet enough with a trace amount of tart.
Platter after platter arrived, Market Oysters on the Half Shell,
Buttermilk Biscuits with jam and the most savory sausage gravy, the House Pancakes,
Maine Lobster Roll, Grilled Chicken Panini’s with Linguica and Sambal Aioli.
Pastry chef Craig delivered the most beautiful sampling of desserts from their peanut butter and jelly macaroons, to the Strawberry Almond Mousse Cake and Chocolate Beet Cake.
To Chris and the Post 390 Management team, thank you for such a wonderful experience.
Your generosity and dedication to providing each guest with a one of a kind meal and unparalleled service was astounding.
Chef Brian and Chef Craig, you outdid yourselves.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our table and provide more insight and tremendous detail.
The meal could not have been more perfect.
Which dish sounds the most delectable to you!?
