1. I finally made my return to the gym yesterday – yes my yoga mat, shorts, tee and ear buds
are all an obnoxious pink don’t judge me.
2. I’ve decided to truly make an honest effort at cleaning up my eating and working at maintaining the Paleo lifestyle.
I am not following any type of trendy-no carb diet (you eat no starch in Paleo) but honestly starches put an immense strain on the digestive system. I feel a lot better when I’m without them.
3. Most of my recent lunches have looked something like the above pictured – the infamous house salad at Greek mecca The Aegean. Their light dressing is addictive and seasons the mix of vegetables perfectly.
4. I’ve organized about 30 recipes in my binder that all look both delicious and nutrient filled and will document my attempts here.
5. One snack I plan to attempt (though the fat content has made me hesitate) are avocado fries. I’m not a person that loves or craves french fries. So I don’t feel they are lacking from my daily intake, but they may be a nice treat?
