I’ve received a few cracks regarding the tastings I attend and if they warrant
my need for extra trips to the gym. All in good jest but not to worry – I’m still fit π
I have to admit these days my diligence at the gym is due less to my concerns regarding
my appearance (I said less) but the empowerment I have always felt post workout.
I am most definitely on a never-ending quest to find my greatness.
Nothing is more inspiring to me than to hear of others overcoming an obstacle.
Triumph through grueling hours of dedication.
Should we leave Gabby Douglas and her hair alone? Girl works out HOURS a day
of course her naturally curly hair won’t be sleek and coiffed.
She’s busy winning medals. Dang! So proud of her it makes me tear up.
My post workout snack: green/red/yellow peppers, cucumbers from the garden
(not mine) berries, vine-ripened tomatoes, pineapple and lactaid low-fat
cottage cheese. Sometimes grilled chicken also if I’m ravenous.

I love my gym time and slowly I have found myself choosing to workout for my health and happiness (nothing better than the endorphins post workout) instead of how much less I weigh on the weighing scale (but hey, fitting into a smaller pair of jeans is always a great motivation booster!)
