here I know I always say this but so many cool things are happening! It makes meso lamely excited it’s not even funny.
In the midst of my serious dedication to the projects I have going on, I’ve actually been diligent about going to the gym and eating clean!
here It seems I’ve also been keeping up with the small steps I usually skip over because of the lack of time. Smothering my body in a luxe cream before bed, sampling some of the continuously arriving supply of beauty products.
The most important thing is clearly what you put into your body. With or without exercise, changing your eating habits will get you the best results, the fastest.
My breakfast usually consists of coconut milk yogurt (can’t do dairy and soy is forbidden in Paleo), a carton of blackberries and some Special K Protein + sprinkled on top.
Lunch is a myriad of vegetables, most commonly: sliced vine-ripened tomatoes, halved cucumbers, cubes of green peppers with a small portion of balsamic atop and homemade avocado + grilled chicken on the side.
With this diet (and the fact that I’m a freak of nature);I can get into shape so quickly it’s not even funny.Which is a good thing if I plan on doing more of those good ole outfit posts!
My workouts: high intensity cardio on the cross-trainer, spinning and power walking at the highest incline possible on the treadmill (this booty didn’t just appear on its own)! I don’t have as many photos as usual because there have been an abnormally high number of people in the gym lately.
I raise it at a right diagonal over my right shoulder, then return it to my stomach area
What’s working for you in the gym lately?

May 23, 2012Thanks for sharing. I need the most motivation with eating right. I'm just plain greedy. I am exercising consistently with pole fitness, Zumba, and bellydancing. Anything that involves dance keeps me focused.
Georgina
May 23, 2012Oh I can be greedy too – I'm definitely not perfect with my eating (that wouldn't be realistic anyhow) π
I definitely want to try pole fitness and zumba! There's a dance studio right next to my office, the only class I've taken was a hip hop one.

May 23, 2012For breakfast, I like a veggie (spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms)omelet or egg white scrambled with 1oz 50% reduced fat cheddear cheese in a whole wheat tortilla wrap, 3mins flat and your 'wake up wrap' is ready!! Lunch/dinner, lean protein and more veggies. I recently started working out with a trainer and it's all strength training without bulking up, I LOVE IT!!!
Georgina
May 23, 2012That's wonderful! I wish I could eat eggs – they usually bother my stomach (the only time I make the exception is for eggs benedict once in a very great while).

May 23, 2012Good read Gina!! I like eggs and veggies in the morning. Lean protein for lunch/dinner and more veggies!! I recently started working out with a trainer all strength training without bulking up, I LOVE IT. I also picked up the book, How to Look Better Naked, a must read with great recipes and exercise programs!!!
Georgina
May 23, 2012I think I may pick up that book! It can't hurt π

May 23, 2012Sounds like you're doing a great job with both eating right and staying fit! I love the cinnamon pecan special k cereal. I need to start applying a luxe cream before bed as well.
Georgina
May 23, 2012I may try the cinnamon pecan flavor! && applying the cream at night really makes a huge difference – when I'm outside my skin looks so much better/clearer and has a healthy glow π

May 23, 2012Thanks for the encouragement! I always try to have a healthy diet with exercise thrown in and I'll have to try your lunch salad and the coconut milk yogurt. I'm a huge fan of yogurt, oatmeal and fresh fruit in the mornings so this could be a welcome change!
Georgina
May 23, 2012I'm glad it can be a source of motivation! π
I'm a huge fan of the same things – let me know if you like it!

May 23, 2012My friends and I are doing not one, but TWO Warrior Dash's between next month and September. Fitness, fun and "danger" rolled in one. I discovered what a Jacob's Ladder is in my gym. Have almost died many times, but it's still fun, in preparation for our events!!! Mwahahahahaha π
Georgina
May 24, 2012That's AMAZING Ashley! I love that they're for such a great cause too. Keep up the amazing work and let me know how your progress is going π

May 23, 2012i'm interested in starting paleo! how do you like it?
Georgina
May 24, 2012I love it! I have so much more energy! It can be the tiniest bit restrictive (and at first a bit hard to figure out which groceries to get) but once you get into a rhythm it's great.
Let me know if you'd like any resources (some of my favorite Paleo blogs) or anything π
Paris
May 24, 2012OMG you are my newest inspiration!! Like seriously, I have been failing at eating right/ working out lately.
Tell me more about how the Paleo diet works! My old trainer was all for it, but I never picked his brain about it. How do you like it? How have the results been? How did you start (i.e.: reading a book, talking to someone, etc)?
Thanks for all the help π I know I have a million questions when it comes to diets and exercise haha
xoxo,

May 24, 2012Thank you Paris! I'll leave a good deal of information here but feel free to contact me privately at:
georgina@notesonlifestylebygeorgina.com if you want more information!
Paleo is all about clean eating and putting things into your body that is easiest for it to digest.
Grains put a lot of stress on the digestive system which is why if you're a Paleo follower you eat no pasta, bread, rice. But you feel AMAZING!
It incorporates tons of fresh fruits and vegetables and cuts out processes foods.
I love it – I have more energy than I could have ever imagined, I sleep better and of course, I've lost weight π
I really just started when I had a previous coworker that did incredibly well with it then ran across a few blogs that outlined the plan.
Feel free to ask anything you like, I'm happy to help π

May 26, 2012I've never even heard of Special K Protein, but I'm definitely going to check it out. I have a difficult time getting enough protein since I don't really like meat. Any new ways are appreciated.
Stopping by from SITS. Have a great weekend.
