Please join myself, Kristen of The Boston Fashionista and Kayte of Mass Musings for an evening of delicious cocktails, shopping and a style contest complete with a prize $150 Peruvian Connection gift certificate!
As previously mentioned, I adore owner Annie Hurlbut and her
gorgeous boutique within Boston’s retail hub Newbury Street.
It all started with Annie’s love for Anthropology and her time studying in Peru.
Annie uses Alpaca in many of her one of a kind garments (alpaca is infinitely softer than cashmere by the way) and originally began working with Peruvians to give the sweaters they had been creating, more flair – effectively helping them to expand their market within North America.
Her company believes in and conducts itself wholeheartedly to Fair Trade standards
(they do not own any production facilities in Peru) and creates many
economic opportunities for the women of South America.
See you Thursday December 4th at
170 Newbury Street from 6:00-8:00pm!
